The Unexpected

Wake up in the morning to find out that the tire on our truck has gone flat!  So after we took off the flat tire it was time to place the spare tire for the duration of our travels.  Just how did we get that flat tire?  It was not easy let me tell you.

But we were all smiles because you must expect the unexpected at all times.  We are fortunate to be prepared as well as we are when we go traveling!  My PC is just so wonderful!!!!

The stupid jack that comes with the F250 truck is NOT, let me repeat NOT what I call sturdy and as safe as I would like to see.  And my brilliant Prince Charming knows me oh so well that he makes sure that we have another jack for emergencies just like this one.  Besides the mat and work pillows for comfort when you are on a pile of sharp rocks!

My Prince Charming makes sure we bring the air compressor for several reasons, we of course have two generators to run everything on our trailer because hey, we are out in the middle of nowhere, the desert, no electricity, no cell phone connection to rely on, no television which is a blessing!  WE read a lot besides playing cards and well you know what else!

So every 8 to 10 days we must take our trailer to a specified area, usually a trailer park or state park where trailer are accepted and dump our tanks.  So we packed up our stuff from our area and did just that on this one particular day.  Of course we wanted to return to our very private spot and to get there we went up the trail once again.  But this time, we didn't see the dead and very sharp brush that just appeared from nowhere and punctured the sidewall of our front left tire.  Oh well, the hazards of the desert and we must always be aware of the unexpected to happen.
This is the bush that stabbed us good!

We don't let anything bother us!  Just take a look at this full moon off in the distance on this splendid early evening.

This picture was not touched up to bring out the colors.  What you see is exactly what we saw!

Priceless and Breathtaking!
Standing at another vantage point.
Once again, this photograph has not been touched up whatsoever.

The unexpected really isn't all that bad now is it?
Come back soon for yet another continuation of our travels.
