End of the Month and Catch-Up Time!

Let's go back in time to June 13th.  Or better yet, June 23, 2000.
A little history:  June 23, 2000, we purchased our property where we decided to retire.
June 23, 2001, we built our home and moved in September 2001.
Almost 10 years later (back to present day, almost) there is maintenance that must be kept up to keep a healthy-clean home and property.
Anyone up for a guess?
It sure is good to have friends who live close to us.  This is Tom and he loves to play with his big-boy toys and we are so grateful that he does.  He saved us a lot of money doing this favor for us!
Have a clue yet?

Perhaps now you can tell because there is a clean out on the walkway "look at the cement".
Okay, how about the man in the ditch with the hose?
Look closely and you will see in that ditch the top of our Septic Tank open!
Phew-wee, what a smell!!!!
There ya go.  We needed to have our septic tank cleaned out.
Yep, that is one deep hole!

Just how deep is that hole?
A lot deeper than the health department drew on the septic tank approval and permit!  It was down 4 feet 7 inches just to the lid!

This guy is a happy man doing a crappy job!
Pretty funny, eh?
LOL!!!!

There is PC and once again, we have another neighbor who has a big-boy toy and a piece of very large culvert pipe that he didn't need for his business.
Once again, we are so grateful to have wonderful neighbors who are our friends!

That piece of culvert pipe is going to be over the lid of the septic tank so we can find the place again a lot easier that today's efforts!
Thank you Mike for letting my PC drive your big-boy toy over to our home with the pipe!
Mike is now inside the cab of his big-boy toy with his adorable 18 month old grand-daughter!
She loves lollipops and tractor rides with her Grandpa!
This is the first of a few more updates, so remember to come back and visit really soon.  This big-boy job is not finished yet!
See ya soon.
