Cleaning Our Property

We weeded the property again all day and there are NO weeds left anywhere on our property for today.  Tomorrow will be another day.  Weeds come every single day and some days right after you pick them, that night they appear.  Why can't flowers or trees or the garden produce that quickly?
Let's take a tour of our property with the pretty things that are growing this season.

Our baby garden.  We planted this small garden June 1st and it is starting to grow, slowly but it is growing.  Let's hope we will see the fruits of our labor soon!
Why do they say "fruits of our labor" when it is a Vegetable garden?  (Except of course the tomatoes)

Cherry Tree
with Cherries but not ready to pick and eat yet.
Go away you stupid birds!
Leave our cherries for us this year!!!

Our Green Apple Tree with tons of apples!
Oh boy, we might get to have be able to have green apple sauce as long as they grow up bigger than last year.  Last year, the apples were attacked by some horrible bug and destroyed all of the apples!
Wish us luck, please.

Somewhere in these two Plum Tress there are at least 4 Plums.
The blooms were blown away with the high winds and the plums did not come for us this year.
I guess we can't complain too much, there are, we think, 4 plums.

Peaches!  Lots of peaches!!!  We hope we get the peaches before the birds get to them.

Just think, peach pie, peach jam, peach cobbler, fresh peaches to eat... what else?  Oh, peach, cilantro, onion,  hot peppers salsa on top of Mahi Mahi (the veggies from the garden of course).

The Red Pear Tree that has really never recovered
from those nasty deer that ate the pears and ate the branches
several years ago.  What a shame!  Nasty DEER!!!!

New annual flowers that are Deer Resistant that my Prince Charming gave to me and he planted it too!

More beautiful flowers that my Prince Charming bought me and planted right in front of our porch where we swing together!

Our perennial flowers that start off like a green plant with green flowers, turn to white, then yellow, then orange and finally to rusty brown color!

They come back each year too.  Very interesting plant to watch.  It loves flies, it eats them.

Thanks for swing by our home today!  Hope to see you soon.
