Dessert in the Desert

What do you when you fresh cherries from your Cherry Tree in your very own garden?  You make a dessert!  Especially since we live in the High Desert, we must have a dessert every so often with the main ingredient from our orchard of trees, well at least from one of the trees, Cherry!
Homemade coconut cake (individual large cupcakes) topped with fresh and lightly sweetened whipped cream crowned with the fruits from our tree with a touch of coconut covered bananas:

Cherries from our Cherry Tree (how many more times can I get away with saying our Cherries from our Cherry Tree?) and the rest of the fruits were store bought because not all of our fruits have ripened yet.   Other fruits store bought: Kiwi, mango, peaches and strawberries.
Lots of cherries, our cherries - the ones that those nasty birds didn't get!!!!
It sure is yummy for a terrific summer dessert and if you would like the recipe, we will share it with you.
Enjoy your day!
