This was a wonderful Father's Day weekend! All three kids called and spoke with their Dad (hard to see each other when we all live in different states. The telephones calls were special.
Then we had a surprise! PC's God-Daughter just happened to be in our area and since she wasn't with her Daddy, she came to visit her God-Father! It was a terrific visit with her, her wonderful husband and adorable son. Gosh, the last time we saw all of them was in 2007. They all live in Georgia.
Justin really loved the Poker flowers.
During their visit, the beautiful girls (next door to us) were so sweet and invited Justin to come over and play with them in their backyard!
All of them are pretty close in age from 3 to 7 years old. It was a pleasure to see how Justin fit right in with the ladies!
They all took turns on the slide and the swings.
Why do you think they play that game?
The girls have Chickens!
The two older sisters are very coordinated and have terrific balance! I was nervous watching and ready to run and catch them - I'm too old for this stuff!!! They were laughing at me and rightfully so! (Yep, I must be too old my heart was pounding) On that teeter-totter they were giggling and laughing the whole time! Enjoying ever minute.
Then they all came over to our home to place their coins into the wishing well and make their wishes!
The next morning, the doorbell rang and the princesses want to play and be with Justin.
This just made our hearts melt. The girls are so sweet and kind.
We made breakfast, cereal, bacon, toast, fresh peaches and nectarines and juice for their drinks! What a party we all had. Both PC & I were enjoying this rare opportunity and it brought both of us back to when our kids were little.
This certainly was a special Father's Day not only for PC, but for me too!
Before PC's God-Daugther and family departed, we went down to visit Henry, the Llama. Justin was able to call out Henry's name and Henry came running to greet Justin!
