Utah also recognizes this day as Free Fishing Day for all in Utah.
We rode our ATVs for a nice local ride about 40 minutes one-way to Baker Reservoir. The weather was absolutely gorgeous with perfect temperatures and a slight breeze. The mountain trail that we rode was spectacular with colors and everything just looked so fresh and alive.
This lake supports fishing. I'm not too sure if anyone really places their boats into the water because you need to launch it in and there are no ramps.
We have a friend who has a cute 2-person fishing boat that he paddles & a small electric motor too that he places on the lake but on this day, we didn't see any boats in the water. Some people fishing around the shoreline. It wasn't as crowded as we thought it would be knowing it was free fishing for all today!
