We arrived at Foley, Alabama and found our place for the next few days to relax. Except the weather was changing fast from warm to warm rain to thunder storms and warnings.
This particular RV place was okay but we decided it wasn't great to be stuck for several days when the warnings came out for severe storms and high winds.
We called my stamping girlfriend and told her that we believe it would be best for us to leave early to beat the storm instead of getting stuck for more days than planned. She understood completely and we were both disappointed that we could not spend more time with each other. It's still a lot of fun while traveling that we were able to stop and say hello to our friends Mel and Ernie who live in Foley, Alabama.
Calm before the storm.
We are leaving Alabama and now entering Georgia!!!
No Rain
We are adventurous and like to take as many small roads through towns rather than the main highway as much as possible.
If we don't get too lost while staying out of the storm's path, be sure to come back soon!
Hugs and Love,
We have arrived because there is the Welcome Sign to Georgia!
We stopped at the visitor center to stretch our legs.
And take a look at the map. Yes, we do our traveling the old fashion way with maps and not by GPS.We are adventurous and like to take as many small roads through towns rather than the main highway as much as possible.
If we don't get too lost while staying out of the storm's path, be sure to come back soon!
Hugs and Love,
