A day earlier than planned

We beat the storm in Alabama and drove into Georgia.  Spent the night in La Grange, Ga. last night.  We had a late and nice dinner at Cracker Barrel.  The people were splendid and so caring to make our visit very comfortable.

We left very early in the morning, just before sunrise, to take a leisurely drive.  We are now one day early and need a place to stay overnight.

This RV Park was wonderful and we need to tell you a little secret.  We were going to stay here at Twin Lakes from the beginning until they told us we couldn't use motorized boats in their private huge lake.

It turned out that we didn't even bring our boat, so the laugh was on us anyway - no boat and staying here as our first choice for one night!

Beautiful lake with fish and a swimming area.  Quiet and extra large spots to park and enjoy the scenery here in Cumming, Georgia.

Before we end this posting, remember we had a blow-out on our trailer a few posts ago?  When we arrived here a day early, we immediately saw a Goodyear store when we exited.  Yep, we took the trailer there and purchased all new tires for the trailer and moved the other new tire as our spare.

So if you are on the road and need unexpected tires; the Goodyear store had all of the tires in stock and surprised us with the best price as well.  It took a couple of hours so we went out to lunch at this great place called; Zaxby's.  So if you see a Zaxby's restaurant and want a good meal this is the place!

Tomorrow we will be back on schedule with our loose itinerary.
