PC and I were honored the other day with this beautiful framed certificate that PC is holding in front of our home under our treasured United States of America Flag.
An American Legion gentleman, in full dress uniform, came to our home a few days ago. We invited him in and he asked us a few questions. Do you fly your flag every day? Do you have your flag properly lit when it becomes dark? Are you (to PC) a Veteran? We answered and he said he would be coming back in a few days. We had no idea what or why he decided to visit us. He said, thank you for proudly displaying our flag. During our conversation we were told the gentleman was a Veteran from WWII, Army and of course PC is a Veteran, Army, from Vietnam Era.
Two days later, he arrived, again, in full dress uniform and presented this Citation of Appreciation for flying our flag properly! We were so surprised that neither PC or I went for the camera, therefore, we did not get a picture of the presentation, unfortunately.
We are extremely proud to fly our beautiful flag and we love our Country!
