Las Vegas!

As the saying goes, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!  Nah, we are here to share with you what we did.

The fun we had at Mandalay Bay started off with this beautiful Corvette!

Wish List for this Corvette is starting here, we are on the list!  Are you?
We went to the Barrett-Jackson Auction Show.
The vehicles were amazing and here are a view pictures of them during the actual auction.

Listening to the auctioneer LIVE is so much fun and LOUD.  The representatives of BJ who are going to each of the bidders to place their bid make their own very distinctive noise.  At times, it is extremely irritating with the screams!!!

We chose to sit in back by the Speed TV announcers and cameras.  It was a great place to sit with the exception of the temperature.  Freezing!
Do you recognize the gentleman standing next to SR?  If you are a Speed Fan, you should know that this is Bob Varsha!!!  Of course I had to request a picture with him.  He is such a likable person there is no pretending while he is on the television.  He is a true gentleman and great friend to all people not only the Formula 1 fans, like us.
Oh by the way, this weekend is Japan's F1 Race on Speed TV.  I am hoping to email him this picture of us this weekend.  Wouldn't it be great if he said something?  Who knows, he might or not - guess you are going to have to watch the F1 of Japan to find out.  The time will be 12:01 AM Mountain Time Sunday, Pacific Time 11:01 PM Saturday, Eastern Time Sunday 2:01 AM.
Back to the Auction

What an assortment of vehicles starting from the Covered Wagons to an Allante Cadillac and then a 1959 John Deere Tractor!
This was the first day and the only day we went to the auction, Thursday.  There were tons of cars and we didn't take pictures of all of them, thank goodness!

After awhile of freezing in there, we decided to go out where the cars are displayed prior to driving up to the auction block.

A few more pictures; okay?

This is a beautiful car with a lot of power!

The only thing we purchased at the auction was our tickets to enter and a flag pole!  Yes, a flag pole that should be delivered to us this week.

We hope you had a good time here visiting and we look forward to your comments and emails.

Take care and Thanks for visiting us!
