January 11th Activities

We went to Arizona to visit our friends and to have lots of fun taking down the Christmas decorations that we placed up last year. If you don't know what we are talking about, you will need to go back and find that posting.
Besides visiting our friends, we wanted to find a place to take our RV and ATV's for the warmer weather and still be close to our friends to visit us or them.
Thank you Chris for recommending us to go check out this area of Arizona!
Of course we met some really nice people who share the same passion as us!
This was a fun meeting and must be told. While we were driving up and down the highway trying to find the place - Shy Girl saw these two guys riding on the dirt road. We stopped the car and Shy Girl jumped out of the car with waving hands and arms to stop them.
They stopped.
They needed to get gas first down the street so they told Shy Girl to met them at the previous crossing back yonder.

All of us had a wonderful conversation and we do share the same interests in RVing and ATVs. Lucky for them, they live just across from this beautiful area of recreation deep in the Arizona mountains.
We went to get our permits and found out that for us to stay a maximum of only 14 days a year on State Trust Land, it was going to cost a lot of money for registration for both ATVs, permit to enjoy the land and permit to stay on the land - again for only 14 days a year.

Hmmm, what shall we do. NOTHING!

Arizona needs to make the State Trust Land available at a reasonable price if they want to bring in Snowbirds!
