Take a Tour with US!

On Sunday night by the time we decided to retire for the evening, we were surprised to find that our temperature was rising to a balmy 25º!  We have been experiencing -1 and -2º, single digits and the lower teens.  We planned our Monday activities to go into town and do a little bit of grocery shopping and some needed errands.

When we woke up around 7AM, it had snowed about 3 to 4 inches while we were sleeping and dreaming of warmer temperatures.  Well, we needed to go to town this morning and we left at 10AM so come along with us for the grand Adventure -  Snow in St. George!
Another beautiful view of Snow Canyon

Looking South towards St. George and the Arizona Mountains beyond

Looking North on Hwy 18, where we came down the road.  The roads were snow plowed and sanded all the way down from our area to town!

Our trusty Ford 250 Truck, you just have to love the 4WD because it works when you need it!  That handsome guy behind the wheel is my PC!  I'm taking the pictures.

Now we are in the 45 mph section of Hwy 18 and those rocks are usually very red.
St. George covered in a white blanket of snow and the news reported about
2 to 4 inches throughout the
St. George area.

Approaching Sunset Corner and Bluff.  It is where the second Starbucks and the Movie theaters are besides many other businesses like the Gun Barrel restaurant.
This next photo is a bit hard to see so you just need to come and see the corner yourself!
Can you guess?
It is the Corner of Sunset and Bluff.
The little strip mall also where PC's barber is located
Now this is easy to figure out, there is a huge clue.  It is the corner of Bluff Street and St. George Boulevard.
It is the Welcome electric Sign and Water Fountain.

Main Street!  The round-about at Tabernacle.
This is on Main Street and it is where the sidewalk waterfalls come to cool everyone off in the hot temperatures that St. George is usually enjoying.
No sidewalk waterfalls just snow and more snow.

Okay, this one is easy; right?
It is the other side of the Main Street and Tabernacle roundabout.

Where's the big "D" for Dixie?

The St. George LDS Temple.

Our fantastic hospital, the big building in the background surrounded in snow!
It is now about 4 in the afternoon and we are back in our neighborhood.
Here are some of the grown kids having tons of fun in the snow!
You can see this snowman from the highway!!!
A little closer to home.
How about our next door neighbors?  Yes!
Their oldest daughter made this beautiful snowman all by herself.

Our beautiful FLAG!
Our beautiful Flag!

Why do we have our beautiful flag waving our proud colors?
