Rest and Relaxation, Finally!

These past several months have been another learning experience for both of us in many ways, for example, the strength of our marriage, friendship, love, giving, taking, sharing and acceptance.  My Prince Charming has certainly lived up and beyond his wonderful self and is always so amazing to me with his support and encouragement.  We are on a path of recovery for both of us in our health and will learn together what our limitations will be with each other and for ourselves as we grow old together.  One thing is for sure, we will always have our Young Loving Hearts steering us in the life we always enjoy together.  You are as young as you feel...
Let's go play!  We are on our way to Lake Powell towing our boat and the jet ski in the bed of the truck.  It is only a three hour drive until launching time!!!!

This is the spot that we picked to spend several days alone with each other.  No television, telephones or computers.

We are approximately 30 nautical miles from the Glenn Canyon Dam off the main channel in an arm that has a few very private coves.  We decided to stake out our place at the end of the cove where not too many people will venture into.

This picture is at the End of the Cove and are looking toward the main channel way out there around the bend of the small mountain on the left side.  As you can see just how calm the water is, flat and is similar to a mirror.

This is at the end of our cove with a fantastic example of the mirror image of the beautiful mountain reflecting in the waters of Lake Powell.
A Beautiful Sunset
The sun rises early in the morning and greets us with a brightness that fills our hearts as a new day begins.  As much as we love this time of day, we must protect ourselves as well.  Cover-up and no sunburns for us!
We extend our coverage with the white linens for an additional coolness in temperature on the boat and no piercing sun rays to harm us whatsoever.  When the sun rises and sets we can move our linens very easily to suit our needs from one end to the other and we still have a lovely airflow throughout our living area.
A self portrait with our boat in the background.  I was able to saunter (I didn't walk; I leisurely floated) across our bay to this side then took a small walk onto the mountain for this picture while my honey was enjoying well-deserved quiet moment, in other words, a nap in the middle of the day.

Playtime
Guess who is having fun with the fish?

We catch and release, then catch and release, then catch and release again and again.  It is so much fun!
SMILE YOU ARE ON CANDID CAMERA...
Oops, did the camera go off when we weren't expecting it to?  Let's try that one again.  It is nighttime and we opt not to have lights on unless we really need them.  We do not want to attract any unexpected guests or bugs!
We did it!

What do you mean "Bad Hair Day!"?
We had a wonderful time floating in the water and enjoying our surroundings at Lake Powell for five perfect days and four beautiful nights.  By the way, our new boat worked out fantastic!  We love the accommodations of having our queen-size bed, dining areas, bathroom with a real toilet and shower, refrigerator and stove!
